When runing mario kart on the newest version I noticed ugly glary FOGY graphics
so I took screenshots.Just look at the Mario Kart Sign you can notice right away.

Save Both screenshots to your compouter and go back and forth with them you will be able to tell emidiately what im talking about

Just did lota testing and ran recopyed all the files ,
I dont know if everyone else will get the same result but this changed from 5461 to 5462.
Dont replace the files make a new folder for each 2 see if you guys get same results.
Apperantly this fixed zelda lag or something.

1st screen is Version r5462- r5525
2nd screen is version r5461
updating version till i find culprit

this is a prety big issue and i dont know if it was even noticed but I noticed it right away , it makes a huge difference when playing the games.

Just wanted to make Devs aware of this issue if they were not already aware.

First screen is more accurate to the real hardware, check screens from a real Wii or check it yourself on a Wii as I already told someone else who mentioned the same thing.

Actualy this problem happened b4 but it was worst .Its just like loading the opengl plugin you get that ugly Glare. But with the Latest versions the glare is yellow-ish but less stronger .

I dont think the real wii has yellowish green grass on mkwii

Grass looks fine to me and I've checked screens taken from an actual Wii. I don't see any yellowish colors, unless you are referring to the light greens that almost look yellow, it looks about the same on a Wii.

Verify these levels on Dolphin. Keep in min that the DX9 is incapable of proper blending due to limitations of the DX9 api, so it is normal for graphics to be a little off with the DX9 plugin.

u just gota test both versions to notice what im talking about. There were some changes made to the pixelshaders or something on versions
5463 wich obviously affected the games.

As I mentioned the first screen is more accurate, I already know what you are talking about and have already told someone else the same thing. Ask rodolfo or whatever his name is, he will tell you the same thing that the first screen is more accurate to the actual hardware. It sounds like your color on your monitor is a bit off, because the first screen you posted looks just fine to me.

I've played the game on Dolphin and even seen it running on the actual hardware, nothing looks out of place. There may be minor graphical issues, but that is due to lack of blending because of limitations of the DX9 API.

The first screenshot is not more accurate. You obviously have not tested it.

Pluged in my computer for my 51" 1080p LCD tv. the wii to the same tv on different input and Remember HDMI AND COMPONENT have different color ranges!!!! So there is no 100% way to compare only way is to adjust Hdmis color Range using your tvs Service Mode .untill it looks the same as component using your cable box. Then you can compare wii pc vs wii system.

ofcourse it looks 10x better on the pc version but the colors are wrong and a tiny foggy . its difficult to tell if you dont take screenshots of both.

Why dont Devs just add a way to switch between color modes from old to new shader versions. Everyonen should prefer older colors wich have more depht and contrast.

Nope, they look about the same..

This is a non-issue, as I've mentioned twice now, it is more accurate now and have even validated this myself by comparing the screenshots. You really need to check your monitor, or your eyes for that matter as there is nothing wrong.

The only likely issue there is, is because the D3D/DX9 API is incapable of proper blending. Because of this, there is that issue with the blue square in the corner and possibly some minor discoloration. This is a limitation of the DX9 API and is only fixed by using OpenGL or once the developers decide to code a backend for DX10, DX10.1, or DX11 support.

Are you using any kind of hacks? Some things look a bit off, and I definitely don't have that when I play. That is the only thing I can think of, all the recent commits have done is improve accuracy, which is a good thing. You are also playing at a lower resolution and on an incomplete emulator so there is bound to be some issues, but both screenshots look about identical to me, so I really don't see much validity in your complaints.

I definitely see the difference between 2 of your pictures. First one just looks washed away compared to the second one. And second one looks more in like with the screencap from actual wii.

That being said, I don't seem to have this problem. I tried both r5461 and r5462 with demon blade, and they were identical in picture quality.

r5462

This may be game specific or something on your end.
