Backend Rendering question

Does anyone know if Dolphin renders frames faster in one API over another?

I don't mean FPS, but the delay in sending new frames to the Gpu.

I've found that games running in d3d9 / 11 feel a little bit more responsive (less input lag) compared to opengl.

But RTSS is showing me the opposite, that opengl runs the smoothest frame timings...

Is this just placebo effect and there's no difference? Purely down to my gpu and drivers?

I'm running ishiiruka build 1085 on win 7, with 2500k and 660ti but I suppose this question isn't really build specific.

Thanks!

You should rerun that test on latest master. Dolphin is considerably different from ishiiruka at this point.

That and if you want to ask a question about how ishiiruka renders frames you should do so in its thread. For the rule of course, but also because we don't really know how it renders anything. So lets keep this thread focused on master!
