There is no malicious coding in the official dolphin-emu svn.
It must be a problem with the one you have downloaded. 05-23-2009, 02:52 AM
There was another topic about this, it's from the official site and people suggests it could be the netplay code being detected as malicious.

....I got Win32:Trojan-gen {Other} from Avast on the same Dolphin I've been using in the past. It has no Netplay.
Umm I'm thinking it is from a Update to Anti Viruses. (or Dolphin had some sort of Timed Trojan. ~.~) This was just Today, on Both Dolphin and DolphinIL EXE's. http://www.virustotal.com/analisis/fc96b...1242918484 This was from DolphinIL.exe (Which I downloaded from the Mainsite a few weeks ago, before the Netplay, so there goes that idea) (Also I used DolphinIL because Avast automatically ate the normal Dolphin.exe) ...Also My SVN 3081 does not have this "Trojan" Explain plox. >_> 05-23-2009, 11:29 AM
It sounds like a recent update to your anti-virus is causing the false positives, and wrongly flagging Dolphin as a Trojan/Virus. Contact your anti-virus vendor and inform them of this problem, this is not a problem with Dolphin or the coding of Dolphin nor do I believe the false detection is specific to Dolphin.

it can also lead to believe that some coding of dolphin is wrong

If I had to guess I'd say it's the bba stuff (which interfaces with a virtual net device). If not that, then i have no clue.
Doesn't matter anyways...there's no virus(es) in dolphin, so chill out :p |
