I doubt anyone is going to bother. There is too much difference in personal tastes. For example, on my PS3 controller, I like to have A on Cross and B on Square, and X on Circle and Y on Triangle. Growing up on an N64, I like how that feels, plus it it puts the X and Y buttons in their proper places to the right and top of the A button. Other people prefer the ABYX to match up with the SNES arrangement, and that's fine too. None of those answers are wrong, because a GameCube controller just doesn't match up 1 to 1 with ANY controller. This is compounded on Wiimotes. Do you want the A and B buttons to be in the SNES arrangement? Or do you want it to match up closer to how it feels on the wiimote, and have A as a face button with B on a trigger? Or what about putting the Dpad Down on the face button above A, for firing missles and stuff in Prime Trilogy? None of these answers are wrong. And which one you go with depends on personal taste, the controller you are using, and the game you are playing. When there is no right or wrong way to play it, so why would anyone go through tons of effort to make something to tell them what to do? Why don't you just tell them how to do it, and let them set it themselves?
