Authentic Nunchuck Disconnects

I read a post earlier but it didn't solve my problem so I wanted to make a newer, more detailed post.

My nunchuck keeps disconnecting on me while I'm playing. I can get it to show that it is connected, but then it'll randomly disconnect during gameplay. Disconnecting and reconnecting the nunchuck will get it to register again but it doesn't solve the problem and it disconnects shortly after that. Sometimes it stays connected for 2 minutes, and sometimes it's an hour. (It's more often 2 minutes though) It doesn't matter if I am using movement or staying still, it still disconnects.

I have been using my nunchuck for over a week and didn't have any issues until 2 days ago. The only thing I can think that changed was that I played Monster Hunter Tri but I can't imagine that would have ruined anything. That's just the first time the issue occurred. Since then I have tried playing multiple games requiring a nunchuck and they all have the same issue.

My system information is below if you need to refer to that. I'm using a black wii motion plus controller by Nintendo, and a black nunchuck from Nintendo. I'm using the toshiba bluetooth stack and the most up to date version of Dolphin. (i tried it on an earlier version and I had the same issue)

Here's everything I've tried:
-Alt+f5 to disconnect and reconnect the controller (This sometimes reconnects it and sometimes doesn't, but it doesn't fix it)
-I have unchecked "enable speaker data"
-Replacing the controller's batteries
-Restaring my computer
-Removed my wii controller through bluetooth connections and the re-added it
-Removing my bluetooth dongle and reconnecting it
-Using the nunchuck with a different wii controller (neither of which are 3rd party controllers or nunchucks)

System information
Operating System: Windows x64
Processor/CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 960 T 3.00 GHz
Video Card/GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6700 Series
Memory/RAM: 8 GB
Dolphin Revision: 4.0.2

Please help me!

I appreciate you trying to help me out!

I just tried the most recent dev build (4.0-2756) and I'm still having the same issue.

Other ideas?

Update: I was able to get a hold of another nunchuck and it works just fine. I'm assuming mine is faulty. Luckily Nintendo has a 1 year warranty.
