Audio Stutters even though game runs at 100% - Project M, Dolphin 4.0

I've been using Dolphin to run Project M 2.6b, a mod for Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I followed this guide to set it up, and it loads and works correctly.

However, I get quite a bit of audio stuttering when I play, no matter what audio and graphics settings I use. I know that the HLE rewrite requires the game to run at full speed/framerate to avoid audio problems, but according to Dolphin, it's running perfectly at 100% 60fps. I've tried every permutation of XAudio2/DSound/OpenAL + HLE/LLE I can see to do, and nothing works -- as soon as I get in-game, the stage music gets all stuttery. I have a relatively strong computer, too (check profile for specs).

Has anyone else had this problem, or might know why it is happening? I'm happy to post any logs that might be relevant.

(Pre-HLE-rewrite versions of Dolphin sound fine, except they crash on me every half hour or so... :/)

I have precisely the same problem (audio stutter on Project M 2.6b) after upgrading from Dolphin 3.5 to Dolphin 4.0. Problem persists with Dolphin 4.0.1.

Would love to know if somebody finds a solution to this.

try using 3.5 see if that helps until they speed up the new builds. im having audio problems in most of my games too.

question does the fps drop even for a second? thats all it takes for the audio to mess up in my games i can run them perfect but the instant the fps drops even for a second the audio desyncs and stutters. sometimes causing the music or the sound to mess up completely.
