Hello,

i tried to play Animal Crossing City Folk on my iMac with Dolphin (Version 4.0 - 1867), but the sound is terrible. It sounds like it's coming from underwater -.-
Here ( http://www.4shared.com/mp3/rEXar4J7ba/Animal_Crossing_Audio_File.html? ) you can listen to it
FPS & VPS are always 49 - 52 and the percentage is 79 - 86 %
I tried to play another game (Kirby's Adventure) and everything seems fine. FPS & VPS are mostly 60 and the percentage ist 90 - 100%.

(Specs about the iMac 27"
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.9.2
Processor/CPU: 3,2 Ghz Intel Core i3
Video Card/GPU: ATI Radeon HD 5670 512 MB
Memory/RAM: 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 SDRAM )

I also tested to play on a Macbook Pro with the same Dolphin Version and the same games.
Kirby and Animal Crossing work perfectly fine. NO AUDIO STUTTER !
FPS & VPS for both games are 60 and the percentage is always between 90% and 100%.

The settings on the computer and the laptop are default settings.

(Specs about the Macbook 15"
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.9.2
Processor/CPU: 2,3 Ghz Intel Core i7
Video Card/GPU: Intel HD Graphics 4000 1024 MB
Memory/RAM: 4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 )

I don't know why the sound isn't as on the Macbook. I've already tried to change settings to DSP - LLE but its' even worse than before.
What can I do? Plz Help =)

Yes, if the game slows down the audio won't run full speed.

Well I know that much. But I dont get why there's no perfect sound on my mac while playing. The mac is much faster than the macboo. Maybe its because of the dolphin version ? Im searching for tips and solutions.

Your Macbook as a lot of hardware differences that could make it a lot closer than you think, or maybe even faster. If the Intel HD4000 drivers are better than the Radeon drivers on Mac, that overhead alone could make Dolphin faster.

Some of what I mentioned in this other thread is relevant here. https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-games-lag-on-my-mac-even-at-the-minimum-settings The tweak at the end, specifically. Make sure you're smart enough for that kind of thing, though, and make sure you have backups if you do attempt it.
