So I know that when you want to dump an AVI file from Dolphin, you need to start up the game, go to Graphics->Advanced->Dump Frames. I'm getting the video file just fine, but even when the Audio is set to LLE Recompiler, and even after selecting "dump audio", no audio files show up. Checked the folders Dump->DSP and Audio and no files are there. WTF? Is there another way to record audio and video without having to navigate into the menu each time I start and stop recording? Why can't I dump the video and audio together (so I can merge the files later)?

Again, I can dump the video fine, but the audio will not dump even when I select, "dump audio". Do I load a game, pause it, and dump the audio and then the video, or do I select "dump frames" before "dump audio"? There has to be a better way of capturing videos (whether it be for TAS or otherwise). FRAPS isn't an option because videos are not 30/60fps during playback.

Then something is wrong, lots of people here use FRAPS.

I tend to see a decrease in FPS when using FRAPS, therefore not resulting in optimal video playback (often <60FPS) but when I don't use it, it runs fine. Maybe my specs just suck balls. Undecided

Have you tried 3.0? What audio backend are you using? HLE and DSound dump fine for me on 3.0.

Look at the version I'm using, it's a GIT revision way past the official Dolphin 3.0 (git version 370). I have it currently set at HLE for audio, but when I dump video and audio, only the video file shows up in dump->frames and no files are made in the audio folders. WTF? I've tried both HLE and LLE audio, and as far as using Bandicam and/or FRAPS, I'm not completely satisfied with the end result; playback is not a constant 60fps whereas dumping a video file would be. Much like the PCSX2 video dumping options, the in-game speed will decrease, but the result is an AVI file that runs a full speed, unlike when one uses FRAPS. Am I so cursed as to never be able to find a decent video AND audio dumping guide that isn't three years old on how to do this?

Any suggestions, short of getting a hardware upgrade? (I'm trying to save up for a notebook).
This revision seems to be one the fastest I've used since 3.0 being released. I must be experiencing a PEBKAC error of a lifetime.
