Audio lag on all games

Hello there,

I registered here in order to get help for a dolphin-specific problem I'm facing with my Retropie-install on my desktop computer. I tried to ask on the Retropie forums first, but so far nobody answered.

To the point:
I'm experiencing audio lag or delay (no stutters or crackling) of roughly a quarter to half a second for all games on Dolphin on my Linux Mint desktop. Now the games themselves seem to run just fine with no lags and stutters. Just the sound being a bit behind.
I installed Retropie according to these instructions:
https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Debian/

I configured Dolphin via it's GUI, since I can't use lr-dolphin because it won't run at all for some reason. Although lr-dolphin did work before, I had the same audio issue. Anyway, I only configured the controls in the Dolphin GUI and left everything else default, so the audio settings are as follows:
- DSP HLE (fast)
- ALSA audio backend

Specs are in my profile, Dolphin revision is: b3c705fa968b8d9a0ea18da044c6de8841019790

Hope I wrote down all you need, let me know if not. I'd appreciate any help.
