How much work is it to fix the problem though? If it's not much work and the problem will be fixed eventually then a revert may not be necessary, it does fix some sound and looping issues but causes problems in some games.

The issues are not bad enough to require a revert, for now those who want to play these games can switch between an older build of the DSP plugin.

Upon testing I've found that this AFC looping hack affects other games as well, it affects some sounds in Resident Evil Zero such as calling your partner with the start button.

I reverted the changes for 4111 and have included them in my latest SVN build, if you decide you want to revert the changes for revision 4111 just let me know and I'll attach the file here since I lack commit permissions to make the change myself. Smile

I doubt that - RE doesn't use the Zelda ucode.

(well, there might be an AX change in the same revision, but it's unrelated to AFC looping in that case)

Can you guys please try to fix it and come up with a nice build that fixed the sound loss issue?
Playing the game became boring after losing the sound... :/

I found that the sound in RE0 bugs out in minor instances if you let the intro play, seems every time I let the intro play through sound exhibits some issues in certain instances such as calling your partner to regroup or split up using the start button.

So scratch that, because it even happens sometimes with the reverted DSP plugin. I can however post the modified file I reverted here if you decide you want to commit the revert to the SVN, so it is less work for the other developers. Smile

^That's a common problem... here's one that seems odd to me, can anyone confirm?

During FMVs in SSBB, there will be some flicker/disturbance to the sound, but only for the right speaker. (It's not busted)

My general experience with sound in Dolphin is that in many games it runs alright but then gets cut off by sound effects, mostly gun shots, btw *g*

Pokemon Colosseum plays all sound effects fine, but it doesn't play music properly. It sounds like it is skipping notes of the songs randomly.
