Quote:-Tales of Symphonia: all sounds seem to be working {reported by metalgamer2008} Definitely not. The issue's been raised before as well. The sound jumps, looses channels, and sometimes isn't there at all. 11-24-2009, 05:56 AM

Anyone knows if the Zelda TP sound issue (the one were music stops playing after a few seconds in the cutscenes and intro) has been reported?

if the devs look in this thread and not in my other one (http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/thread-5000-page-4.html ) I'll say it again here...
the recent changes in the HLE plugin get rid of many game hangs...also, some music cutoff is gone, for example on the last laps in Mario Kart Wii. They did, however, introduce some noisy scratchy sound that comes up in several games (e.g. Mario Kart Wii) (strangely only when EFB to texture hack is enabled, some told). This is gotten rid of by disabling the loop fix in HLE plugin (but then, of course, the hanging and music cutoffs are back again)

Audio seems to be working a lot better in Resident Evil Archives (Remake), the gunshots and sounds/music doesn't cut out anymore. Sound is even better than the Gamecube version of Remake which doesn't loop music properly, music frequently cuts out in the Gamecube version of Remake. The sound in the intro is scratchy for Resident Evil Archives, but this is not much of an issue since ingame sound is fairly good now.
I am just awaiting proper looping to be implemented for Zelda Twilight Princess, the former hack which has been reverted caused weird sound oddities and music to cut out in Twilight Princess. They said a proper fix would come soon but it's been a while now and several revisions later and still no fix is to be seen as of yet. Without this fix there is no intro music in Twilight Princess and the game music is missing some notes. 12-03-2009, 07:17 PM
so there's full music "support" in RE Archives (Remake) (Wii) now?

Not sure, haven't tested much yet. Sound and music doesn't seem to cut out anymore from what I've played, gunshot sounds don't disappear after firing two or three shots.
