Does http://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/source/detail?r=7bf72a6c8476798ecbb9cdb13ec3a8f0b9858da6 not count as hearing back from the devs?

Sorry, I didn't know that existed. I tested with the latest revision as of last night and still got the staticky audio issue as with previous builds using LLE, so at least for me...no dice unfortunately. Is that a specific revision I should be trying? Also someone posted that they still get the static as well after that fix.

I have some times this weekend. Is there anything I could help on testing?

Go ahead, no one's stopping you Wink Just play your games and see if the revisions RachelB linked to fixes any static.

I just tried that one (3.5-170) and the static persists so that build was unable to fix the issue I am experiencing. Thank you for the effort though Smile

If the dev folks think it will help, I would be happy to upload my complete system specs, installed programs, etc.

I am still getting the audio issue with Baten Kaitos and Wind Waker. Build 3.5-202 does not solve the issue for me unfortunately.

Did you play for at least 3 hours Topken because sometimes it can take up to 3 hours for the issue to appear.
After testing a dozen revisions I have a more detailed description of the issue (how it happens for me at least Smile )

The static begins within the first 3-5 minutes of play, but it is more of a quick (pop) here and there. It then goes away usually for 10-20 minutes and then the pops come back and there are a few more than the previous "pop sequence". They disappear again for 10-20 minutes and this process continues until the pops sort of build on one another. The last "phase" happens very quickly once it starts. The pops happen and within 1-2 minutes all the audio is echo-ey and static-ey.

I am not 100% sure what the PulseAudio builds do. It looks like there was a fix and merge of it. Would it be something that may resolve the sound issue I am experiencing?

I would just hate to waste another 1-2 hours if it isn't even related.

Hi,

I just registered so I could chime in that I experience the exact same issues in Zelda Skyward Sword as well as Super Mario Bros Wii..
In my case, I've noticed that it's only the music that starts looping. At first it sounds like it plays the background music in the same tempo for both (but the background music is way off sync), but then it speeds up until it becomes garbled.
Exiting a region/loading new background music fixes the issues temporarily until it returns. It might be a fluke but I noticed that some areas in games seem to generate the issue faster.
I also get the issue faster than what is described in this thread, only takes around 15-20 minutes of regular game time (as long as I'm in those specific areas).

I haven't tried the latest build and will try that when I get home.
