Basically within five minutes of starting the game the audio glitches and will hold the same tone indefinitely. I tried downloading the recompiler but when I change the setting the audio is choppy and sounds horrible. I tried using the other setting, but that doesn't work either. I forgot what the effect is. It does with with Super Mario Sunshine and LoZ Four Swords.

System stats:
dolphin 4
windows 7 64 bit
2.2 ghz intel dual core cpu
4g ddr2 ram
ati radeon 4650 i think

Turn on LLE Recompiler Audio in the audio settings. These are Zelda Ucode games.

I tried that. It just makes the audio choppy.

Which dual core do you have? Some of them can be overclocked pretty easily.

I'm running an Intel Dual Pentium E2200 2.2 ghz. My average FPS is 25-30 and it runs smooth to me. VPS(whatever that is) is 60% ish I think. Would it be worth it to overclock? I've never done it before but I'm okay with playing it muted if it's too risky.

You can overclock. And if the sound is still choppy, use OpenAL and raise the latency.
Rig 1: Windows 10 Home | AMD A6-1450 @ 600/1000/1400 MHz | AMD Radeon HD Graphics 8250 | 4GB RAM | HP Pavilion TouchSmart 11.
