ati has more crap then shit opengl support (sure looks like hacks in here) while nvidia just does stuff with their chips & drivers that makes me facepalms like hell (whats wrong with your shitty horizontal view & crap dualview support nvidia?!?! )

U may be right partially but there is one more, I think most important thing U've totally forgotten, it's PRICE of course and when it's come to price then nvidia is totally lost. If U have to buy one of theese shitty cards, let's take Ur point that both are crappy, so how can U name person that pays two times more for nvidia crap when he can buy same crap from ATI for half of money?

Sorry dude but computers still are not easy to use for noobs, it's easy to break something in it if u ain't got at least basic knowledge about pc. Better buy a console.

DudeAngry,I been using computers for more that twelve years(I'm 17) and I been able to fix all their hardware and software problems myself, without the help of a tech,I'm quite an adept in computer maintenace,I know that hardware is very fragile, just touch something with a bit of static on your hand and you might break it.But the problem here was not me,it was a cheap, chinacrap Vcard that I had to buy because all the others were far to expensive, but I learned my lesson, never buy cheap hardware again, that crapy ATI was 30$ and this NVidia was 75$,quite a lot but it was worth it.

U've learned more than U think, U can't buy brand new nvidia card for only 30$ because even most crappy thing from them is much more expensive. So buy now ATI card for 75$ and take another lesson. Comparing ATI card for 30$ with nvidia for 75$ is little unfair.

I'm not 100% sure about the ATI's price,it could had been 35$ or 38$,I just can't remeber very well. But if you think that 75$ is a ripoff you cleary weren't there the day I bought it,the same NVidia Geforce 9800 GT was 97$ in another store and I'm not buying a new one until this one breaks(and I hope it don't happens anytime soon) 'cause my pocket hasn't recovered yet from those 75 bucksBig Grin.

There are lot of companies that makes video cards using nvidia or ATI chips. This 97$ geforce 9800gt wasn't exactly the same as yours, could have more ram or faster clocks and that's why it was so much more expensive than yours.

I suppose the best thing about these 2 Giants is that you have the choice : For me , I alternate depending on the series and their capacities :
I mean the thing to do is buy the card that will give you the best Bang for the buck .
I had TNT2 Ultra 64mo , then again geforceti4200 128Mo,then x800 pro 256mo,went back to 8800gts 320Mo , tried 9800gtx (crap for me ),then 9800gx2 .
If I had money these days , I will definitely go for Ati 4890(crossfire maybe).
It's a good thing to alternate , Neither Ati or Nvidia has THE answer .
Pentium G2120 Ivy Bridge 3.1Ghz
8GB 1333 DDR3
ASUS 560 TI CU2 TOP
Crucial M4 64Gb

Similar like me, I'm buying what is the best price/power choice for me at the moment, last few years it was always ATI.
