Hello,

I'm going to get a new PSU next week so now I can upgrade my GPU Big Grin

I'm deciding between ASUS Radeon HD 7750 and Radeon HD 7770 (both 1GB DDR5).

HD7750 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121633

HD7770 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121632

Will there be a big difference between the two?

There is a price difference but not by much due to rebates.

I'm wondering if 7770 will run dolphin significantly better.

My specs are - Dell Intel Core i5-2400, 3.1GHz, VT-x, 95W Optiplex 390 / 4GB DDR3 RAM.

I'm upgrading to a Corsair PSU 500W since both GPU cards "recommend" I have 400W minimum.

Thank you in advance! Smile

I would go with the 7770. If you can get both always get the better one.

Both cards have the exact same memory bandwidth, so theoretically they should have identical performance (except for Anti-aliasing . 7750 : 4xIR , no AA , 16xAF . 7770 : 4xIR , 2xMSAA , 16xAF )

Thank you Big Grin That's the type of info I wanted~

I don't know what the AA difference is, does it matter much?

Also, even though it's around $30 difference, if there's not much difference, then there's no point on spending that extra.

Would you recommend that I get 7770?

Thank you again!

The difference is not noticable via Dolphin .
PC gaming . However , that's a different story

Just get the 7770. The price difference between the two is extremely small.

this... the 7750 is a roughly a 5770 is strength and the 7770 is roughly a 6850 in strength. so theres quite in horsepower but as said before you wont see any differences in dolphin as emulation isnt typically gpu intensive.

i would would get the 7770 anyways. or consider a 7790 but thats up a price bracket if you also do Regular pc gaming.

May I recommend the sapphire 7770 instead? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202011. And as others have said, why get the least performer out of the 2 when theres only about a very minor difference in price? Also the Sapphire 7770 is cheaper and a little better.
