This may be a stupid question, but here goes:

Are the Wii Remotes in the boxes branded "Wii-U" the same as the original ones as far as Dolphin is concerned? I know they have the Motion-Plus built in, but are they otherwise compatible? I'm looking to get a couple more wiimotes, but can only find "Wii-U" ones. They certainly look the same, but will they work with Dolphin? The part no is RVL-A-WRWA.

Thanks.

It's just a -TR wiimote, it works perfectly fine in Dolphin (assuming it's genuine). As usual for -TR wiimotes, in Windows you'll need Toshiba BT Stack or a Dolphin Bar. OSX and Linux just works and that's all...
