HI tnx for reading just wanna ask if the devs are planning to add mouse support to any of the pad plugins cuz now we have a few fps titles that are better to be played on a keybord and a mouse rather than a controller
{conduit,time splitters 1and2,and other fps that works with dolphin}
it would just be great Cool
cuz been playin time splitters 2 for a while now and im kinda having trouble keeping up with the controls on my ps2 controller connected to a usb to ps2 converter
and another question am I the only one sufferring slow slug like internet connetion here due to this

APCN2 cable cut cripples connections
By Victoria Ho, ZDNet Asia
Wednesday, August 12, 2009 04:50 PM

update A cut in the Asia-Pacific Cable Network 2 (APCN2) undersea submarine cable crippled connection speeds for users in the Asia-Pacific region on Wednesday, particularly in Singapore and the Philippines.

Users were sending updates to local forums and Twitter, complaining of slow connection speeds to sites hosted outside of the region.

According to a notice sent by Malaysian telco, TM Net, the cable fault was traced to segment 7 of the APCN2, which stretches between Shantou, China and Tanshui, Taiwan. TM Net traced the outage to Typhoon Morakot, which hit the region over the weekend.

Additionally, segment 1 of the APCN2 is also currently under repair. Repairs on segment 7 are expected to commence after work on segment 1 is completed.

TM Net said the repairs are expected to be completed by late evening Aug. 13.

Singapore operator, SingTel, confirmed the cable fault in an e-mail to ZDNet Asia, saying the APCN2's consortium members have started restoration works and are diverting Internet traffic to other cable systems. It said the situation is expected to return to "acceptable levels" within the next 24 hours.

A status update posted on InternetTrafficReport.com showed SingTel's Singapore gateway registered a score of only 34 points, compared to the global average "health" of network connections, which was 86 points as at 3pm Singapore time on Wednesday.

The site first started registering slower response times and packet loss in Singapore at 8pm Tuesday evening.

Cable & Wireless sent ZDNet Asia a status update at 6pm, Singapore time, noting multiple cable breaks have been also detected along the EAC (East Asia Crossing) and SMW 3 (South-East-Asia, Middle-East, Western-Europe) subsea cable networks, in addition to the APCN2.

These breaks have been concentrated specifically near Taiwan, with network traffic "adversely affected in and out of the region as a result," said the operator.

Back in 2006, the APCN2 was taken out by a powerful earthquake in Taiwan. Internet access was reportedly badly disrupted and halted in some parts of Asia after the quake.

they both use the same plugins, and im sure you could remap the mouse in order to make it emulate some keys on the keyboard, maybe joytokey can do it idk

If i may ask, Why are you trying to emulate the GC controller with a mouse?
The Keyboard does a lousy job as it is, a mouse would really suck.
My advise to you would be to Buy an Xbox 360 controller, this really get the job done.

I think it's just a fun thing to do, and I also think it would br pretty easy to make.

To simulate an analog stick with a mouse would only need a the mouse pointer's x- and y-position (2 times) and then calculate the direction using those positions.
Then you could use the mouse buttons to simulate the some of the keys on the gamepad. I think it would be something fun and simple Tongue. Not too much to code.
Sorry for my bad english...

haven't you read my post at all as I said im having a hard time playin fps gamecube games on my ps2 controller cuz hate to use my right analog to point the crosser cuz sometimes it fails to go the way want to due to over moving my analog stick so I was thinking what if I were to use a mouse like the way I was doing it in the project64 emu while playin golden eye its so much easier to hit my target using the and give's you the felling your actually playin a pc game and not nintendo64 game
note :the project64 emulator pad plugin supports mouse input so it means its also possible in dolphin pad plugins
