My specs are:
CPU Type:

Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU 2.80GHz
CPU Speed:

2.81 GHz
System Memory:

2 GB
Video Card Model:

NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT
Video Card Driver:

nv4_disp.dll

This is on Windows XP. I run Wind Waker at 30% speed. Is my hardware just not good enough or is there a way i can configure dolphin to perform better?Huh

Lowest possible?

A $400 PC.

And a GPU: (If resolution doesn't matter then skip this and keep the 9500 gt as it should be able to do 480p.)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121397
(Capable of 720p.)

1080p capable GPU:

(Might be pushing it with a 400w PSU.)

This will play more games at 100% than it won't.
But yeah, no chance in hell of running Dolphin on that Pentium 4.
Just get a new rig.
(Or find something else to play.)

And here's a pre-built one that should be able to do 720p:

This one can DEFINITELY do 3x native (1080p) and would be perfect for Dolphin.

As you can see, there are no cheap options here.
Sorry.

You can also check out what other people's specs are for WW on the Dolphin Wiki Wind Waker entry. It's been tested on a lot of different hardware. It'll give you an idea of what hardware is capable of full-speed on WW.

But really, like werewolfyman said, you're going to need a new computer, and the ones he posted should do fine.

I used to have a Pentium 4 about 3 months ago.
Then I scrapped it and never looked back.Big Grin
Seriously, you'll be amazed by how fast any of those processors are by comparison.

Yeah, a couple of years equates to leaps and bounds in technological advances in the industry. I was looking through a bunch of my old computer mags the other day, reading about how an Athlon 64 FX-51 used to be the CPU to get, like 8 years ago. Time flies.
