ar codes not working

ok so im having issues with the ar codes on dolphin. trying to use codes for pokemon colessum(sp) and fire emblem path of radiance but everytime i put the codes in dolphin changes the coding and tells me they're wrong any solution to this?

It converts the code to another format after you punch it in, don't worry about that part. Telling you they're wrong, though... What's the exact error message?

Also, obligatory sanity check: make sure "Enable Cheats" is checked in Config > General.
