This one was pretty easy and quick.
EDIT:
Included Ocarina of Time for the Collector's Edition as well.
EDIT:
Upgraded the Majora's Mask version to include Deku Sticks and Deku Nuts as well.
Fun Fact
In Ocarina of Time the Bullet Bag, Quiver, Bomb Bag, Deku Sticks and Deku Nuts have several upgrades. By default the upgrade level for each item starts at 0, which only can allow up to a maximum capacity of 0 (Deku Seeds, Arrows, Bombs, Deku Sticks, Deku Nuts). There are 4 upgrades in total for each item (the first upgrade always being at a capacity of 0). The wallet works a bit differently, at the first upgrade already starts at a capacity of 99 (the second and third upgrades being respectively 200 and 500 of course). There is even a fourth upgrade for the wallet which has a capacity of 500 as well, but is unused. There seems to be some space reserved for another set of four upgrades, which ultimately unused within the game.
For the Bullet Bag, Quiver and Bomb Bag you naturally obtain the second upgrade once you obtain their respective items for the first time. Upgrading the Bullet Bag, Quiver and Bomb Bag of course allows you to reach the third and fourth upgrade. In the same way the wallet reaches the second and third upgrade as well.
Deku Sticks and Deku Nuts work a bit differently. As soon you collect your first Deku Stick or Deku Nut, their respective upgrade is set to 1. As is well known by now, the Deku Sticks and Deku Nuts capacity can be upgraded during the game as well twice.
Most of this stuff works the same for Majora's Mask, through it has a few difference:
- The Bomb Bag upgrade affects Bombchu's as well. The amount of Bombs you can have applies to Bombchu's as well.
- Capacity of Magic Beans has been increased from 10 to 20.
- There is no Bullet Bag anymore.
- You can no longer earn upgrades for the capacity of Deku Sticks and Deku Nuts.
However, Majora's Mask still has the same four upgrades for Deku Sticks and Deku Nuts. You can actually upgrade both of them, once. Starting a new game leaves your Deku Sticks and Deku Nuts upgrade at 0, which allows for a maximum capacity of 0. Likewise in Ocarina of Time, as soon you collect your first Deku Stick or Deku Nut their respective upgrade is set to 1, which is 10 Deku Sticks and 20 Deku Nuts.
Perhaps you can see where I am going with this. I haven't tested it properly yet, but since the upgrade levels for the Deku Sticks and Deku Nuts still exist in Majora's Mask, it might actually be possible to implement those. Through this will be a permanent change to your save file of course. There is the fourth wallet upgrade as well, which can be implemented as well for both games. But that would be a permanent change to your save file as well.
Majora's Mask keeps the same capacity values as in Ocarina of Time, so that remains unchanged. There is still left-over data from the Bullet Bag capacity upgrade, and the fourth wallet upgrade still exists, through still unused. And the reserved space for the unknown item capacity upgrade is there as well.
