Just wondering, do we have a Levitation code for Ocarina of Time - Master Quest (D43E01, NTSC-U)? I didn't find one. Should prove useful to me for accessing area's early so that I could check them for the texture pack.

Thanks darkludx, should prove useful for me doing texture work.
Just another request from me.
Is there an equivalent for the Disable Black Bars (disable the letterbox format during Z-targeting) code from Majora's Mask for Ocarina of Time - Master Quest (NTSC-U, GC)? It is pretty impressive for Majora's Mask. 09-10-2018, 10:50 AM
Admentus, thanks for the upload of the textures of the red hearts for the life meter, I like it.
And about the Disable Black Bars Code for Ocarina of Time - Master Quest NTSC-U (D43E01), I will try to make that Code. I added these fixes to the 30 FPS Code: Pressing the B button (or holding the B button) in Zora form for attacking don't change the game to 20 FPS. Now is possible to make Combos, keep in mind that the B button timing is different for Link, Goron and Zora. I can confirm both fixes work properly. You can now do the three-attack combo as Link, Goron Link and Zora Link (Deku Link has no attack combos). The timing to perform the combo is slightly different, but you get used to it quickly. So that's completely fine. Also, attacking as Zora Link no longer reduces the FPS to 20, so great work here.
I did happen to notice suddenly a new issue (it was there before, I just didn't notice it) that when preforming an Instant Spin Attack (quickly rotate the control stick once and press B) that the FPS lowers to 20 temporary (returns immediately to 30 FPS afterwards), similar to how attacking in Zora form. It doesn't happen when charging your Spin Attack through. As you likely know, the Instant Spin Attack is also harder to execute in 30 FPS mode. My guess is that you have 50% less time to rotate the control stick 360 degrees once and pressing B afterwards. Don't get too excited about the new life meter just yet . The new HUD changes are not yet uploaded. It is certainly going to be part of the next update V2.4, but it is still not quite ready. Hopefully Soon™.
I added this fix to the 30 FPS Code:
The duration of Deku sticks set on fire is 11 seconds in 30 FPS, one second more than in 20 FPS mode [color=#3333ff]The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition NTSC-U (PZLE01)[/color] [color=#339933]Majora's Mask Gecko Code Switch 20/30 FPS Part 1[/color] 20E4FAF4 20080000 00002FC2 00000000 E0000000 80008000 20E4FAF4 00180000 00002FC2 00000001 E0000000 80008000 [color=#339933]Majora's Mask AR Code Switch 20/30 FPS Part 2[/color] 88002FC2 00000001 0AE4DD12 00000002 02E4DD12 00000003 02E4DDF0 00000003 02E4FB82 00000300 04E68FCC 3F2AAAAB 0CCBC0C4 FFFFFFFF 04CBC0C4 FFFFFFFE 00000000 40000000 88002FC2 00000000 02BE4DDE 00000006 02BE5432 00000000 0AE4DD12 00000003 02E4DD12 00000002 02E4DDF0 00000002 02E4FB82 00000200 32E68DE0 00004120 02E68DE4 0000BF34 0AE68E26 0000FF08 02E4DDF0 00000003 0AE68E26 0000FF08 02E4FB82 00000300 0AE68FC4 000040E0 02E68DE4 0000BF34 0AE68FC4 00004110 02E68DE4 0000BF34 0AE68FC4 00004120 02E68DE4 0000BF34 4AE68E26 00005008 0AE68FC4 00004120 02E68DE4 0000BF00 0AE68E26 00005008 04E68FCC 3F333333 0AE68E26 00003208 04E68FCC 3F4CCCCD 0AE68E26 0000C808 04E68FCC 3F800000 0AE68E26 00001408 04E68FCC 3F2AAAAB 0AE68FC4 00004140 02E68DE4 0000BFD0 0AE68FC4 00004150 02E68DE4 0000BF34 0AE68FC4 00004160 02E68DE4 0000BF34 0AE68FC4 00004170 02E68DE4 0000BF34 0AE697DC 00000302 02E4DDF0 00000003 0AE697DC 00000302 02E4FB82 00000300 4AE68E26 00003208 0AE68DC0 0000100B 02E4DDF0 00000003 4AE68E26 00003208 0AE68DC0 0000100B 02E4FB82 00000300 0AE69898 000000C8 02002FC4 00000000 4AE69898 00000034 0A002FC4 00000001 02E69898 00000031 0AE69898 00000033 02002FC4 00000001 0AE69898 00000032 02E69898 000000B7 0CCBC0C4 FFFFFFFE 04CBC0C4 FFFFFFFF 00000000 40000000 For 20 FPS Hold R Button and then press C-Stick Up For 30 FPS Hold L Button and then press C-Stick Up Add the part 1 of the Code as Gecko Code and the part 2 of the Code as AR Code Please activate the two parts of the Code if you want play in 30 FPS in Majora's Mask Please set CPU Clock Override to 295% and use the Vulcan Graphics Driver. Great solution, I test it tomorrow. 11 seconds seem like a fine solution for me. One additional second isn't going to break the balance (one second shorter might).
EDIT: I tested the new fix. I can confirm that the Deku Stick burns for 11 seconds in 30 FPS mode and 10 seconds in 20 FPS (which is the intended duration). It is a perfect fix. I can hardly imagine this would lead to any issues or game-breaking exploits. An infinitely burning Deku Stick could be used for some nasty exploits. 09-19-2018, 05:03 AM

Thanks darkludx!
Just tested it for Master Quest, and it seems to work perfectly so far! I am sorry I have been absent around here the last few days. Nerrel is still working on the Snowhead region before I can continue here. If I still missed earlier parts I do fix that altogether with the new region. And yeah... I didn't had that much time to playtest the 30 FPS code yet. Still on my wanted list is one or two missing minigames, I should probably check the Kafei sidequest and the Cows abduction sidequest. I should probably just start a fresh save file and do a 100% completion run... But... That is going to take a while to do so, a few days at least. Just wondering, should I wait for a few more fixes before I start a fresh 100% completion run? It might feel a waste of time if have to run it a second time shortly after when issues might get solved. |
