AR Code Error

Hello, I'm trying to get the AR code that fixes widescreen for THPS3 from the wiki to work.

The wiki page for the game: Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3

and the AR code:

it keeps showing the following message at the boot:

Master codes are not needed. Do not use master codes.


I suppose the AR code should work fine since it's from the wiki and fixes the clipping issue on widescreen.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What other​ cheats do you have enabled? Master codes (sometimes just called M) aren't necessary in Dolphin and most other emulators. Some cheating devices needed to inject their own subroutines into a game (the master code) so that the device could constantly replace and edit RAM values and such, but Dolphin has complete control of memory already and can just edit stuff directly without hooks.

So try disabling anything that says "master" or "master enable" or "M". If necessary disable everything else except your code.

I don't think I have any other cheat enabled, at least not that I've installed.

Why would there be a Gecko code for a GC game? Did someone from the wiki mess up, like accidentally posting the wrong widescreen code?

I've tried to add as gecko code and it says that it can't parse the code lines, so I don't think its gecko or maybe it is the wrong code at the wiki. Does anyone know the right one?
