Applying any hack gives 400% speed improvement in Zelda TP in Direct3d ???

Well my laptop is slow and I get: 8-15 FPS.

Could you post your config and REV?

Make sure you have enable Enable EFB copy to texture, using Direct3D9 and using the Twilight Bloom hack and some configs for some speed.

Processor is clocked too low, for decent/stable speeds or to run most games at full speed you need a processor clocked at 2.5 - 3.0+ Ghz, Core2Duo/Quad/i5/i7 recommended for best results.

Also laptop hardware is quite underpowered compared to it's respective PC desktop counterparts. It's not recommended to overclock due to increased heat generation and the possibility of frying your laptop processor, not to mention laptop cooling is quite poor.

hm, this thread is quite old and yet this interesting discovery (any hack speeds ZTP up) hasn't helped "fix" the slowness? Or does this speedup using any of the hacks not work anymore?

it got fixed, but now it happen's again 5-10fps speedup..

but these projection hacks aren't even appliable anymore for DX9, are they? You can only choose them in the game properties. There, however, they don't seem to be saved anymore. If you open them again, it's back to "no hack" *shrug*

This doesn't work anymore, the slowdowns the hack fixed has been fixed in Dolphin for a while now and the hack is no longer required to achieve decent speeds outside of Hyrule Field.

Please note that the hack didn't fix the Hyrule Field slowdowns, only issues with severe slowdowns with the DX9 plugin elsewhere in the game.

If you are using the latest revision, you are pretty much getting the best speed you can for right now.

well this is amazing it boosted re evil darkside chronicles HUGE
from 15-28 before ,now its 45-55!! just by enabling zelda hack,before i used bleach vs crusadethat was only 15-25 with hickups...Fantastic.Thanks poster for the Tip.!
