I have always hated standing up and moving around when playing games, I am old fashioned. Is there anyway while playing games with the real wiimote and I guess even with an emulated wiimote, to record the motion using an app then map that motion to a button?

I was thinking of something of like holding down a button on the keyboard, doing the motion then letting go of the button, the motion would then be saved to an .ini (or new file type) only for the specific game, i could then map that motion to a button on the keyboard when I config the emu. The .ini can then be shared for other emulator users, of course when motion recording is stopped a popup can come up to enter the name of the motion or something.

I don't know if this is not possible maybe in the future it will be a good feature.

I believe the feature used to be in really old builds but has since been deprecated for some reason.

Crap, that would have been sweet, does the team read this forum or is there anyways to ask for it to be re added in the future, even if it is buggy?

From what I see in that screenshot, it doesn't seem possible to map the motions to a button on a controller. I think customized motions on a per game basis would be sweet and allowing import / export to a config file it would be possible to start a community sharing motion files on a per game basis, the team would not even have to do the work configuring and testing the motion captures per game.
