Anyway to change the title ID or game name?

I didn't. What files/directories are indexed (and need to be deleted)?
But I don't think that would make too much difference since the game name and ID initially shown in that program were also different than the info Dolphin lists there. After the change, still no difference.

Once a banner is found for a wii game the name is cached and read from the cache file from then on

Thanks, but that's still not the problem. See the screenshot and it should be clear - I need the pair marked in red adjusted. I need to change the "short" game name which is part of the banner.bin.

you would need to edit the banner.bin and then clear the cache file for that game

Ok, found a good hex editor, cracked open the banner.bin and after a lot of trial and error, got the titles looking right. Thanks for all the help!
