Any way to use mouse for IR with a gamepad?

Hi there, I'm trying to use a gamepad for playing Nintendo Wii games but in most games (such as Super Mario Galaxy) it's very hard to navigate through the menu without using a real wiimote. I can't bind the IR controlls to the mouse when I use "Emulated Wiimote" and I can't bind the gamepad controlls when I use "Hybrid Wiimote".

Any way to fix this so that I can use my gamepad together with my mouse?
