Any way to skip the in-game videos?

I find them most of the time boring. Is there an option to skip them?

In some games they can be skipped by pressing A or Start, etc. But in some other games they can't be skipped at all and you'll have to deal with them

OK thanks. Another question. Is it normal that these in game videos look like crap in comparison the in-game graphics?

Yes. Some videos are just low-quality movies that the game plays. Most are only the same resolution as the GC/Wii's native resolution, so you'll be stretching the movie if you try playing it at any larger resolution. Add to the fact that the videos might not be using the best compression algorithms.

The "in-game" graphics you're referring to are probably game models and other polygonal objects. Those will increase in IQ when increasing the internal resolution.

It may come from your system. Powerful enough or not.
It may also come from the emulator. In some games videos are more or less broken or don't work at all
