Any way to get the Gamecube controller w/ adapter to rumble?

I am using my Wii U gamecube adapter on my PC with the tutorial and drivers locate here. It works perfectly, except for the rumble. I am using a basic controller with rumble functionality. I hear that it does support it, but I can't seem to find out how to get it working. Anyone know if I am right in it being possible and how I can get it working?

no no, don't use that guide, it doesn't support rumble, use this:

Thanks, got it working.

It did bring up another question though. I got this working for fighting Psycho Mantis in Metal Gear, and the rumble worked, but I was also able to fight him when that's only supposed to be possible if my controller was in slot 2. Did I mess something up or does the Dolphin Gamecube Adapter support just do something weird where it thought I was in slot 2 anyway?

Does that happen on a GC too? I know it does for PS1, but I didn't know about GC.
