Just spend on a better video card instead
i7 has Hyperthreading (4 cores 8 threads) while i5 doesn't have (4 cores 4 threads)
Hyperthreading is useless for most PC games (not all PC games) . HT is usefull for video encoding or heavy multi-tasking
I just have money to waste, and this generation the recommended specs for PC games is 8 cores, according to watch dogs, NFS:Rivals and other games recently announced.
I'll go with GTX 770 for videocard, and I actually think this is the roof for me, I shouldn't go higher than it for now.
I really want to go with top of the line, and the i7 sounds a lot more top of the line for overall tasks to me. Isn't it?
