I did. On my LG G7, both the Xbox One S controller (over Bluetooth) and a wired licensed third-party Nintendo Switch controller (HORI) worked just fine, while the PS4 controller behaved erratically. On my OnePlus 9 Pro, all three work fine. The wired controller sometimes refuses to work when I use a multi-port adapter to get HDMI out and USB at the same time, so I seldom use it. Taking that last point into account, the only one that's worked consistently across phones for me is the Xbox One S controller over Bluetooth. I haven't used any "made for Android" controllers, though, so I assume most of those will work just fine too.
