If you want a handful of games to be fullspeed with tons of graphical problems and crashes: Any Snapdragon 835 device

If you want a stable experience with only a smaller handful of games at fullspeed: Nvidia Shield TV.

I’d like to add, a thermally stable S821 device like the OnePlus 3T, or Google Pixel will suffice as well, as the Kyro 1 is actually faster in single core performance than the successor. Driver bugs galore but you might see an improvement in the number of games that can hit fulll speed or near.

This is true, I recently got a Leeco le pro 3 that has a snapdragon 821, I installed lineage on it, then I installed a custom kernel and overclocked the cpu and changed the governors, some lighter gamecube games runs at full speed, I also tried xenoblade chronicles using the vulkan backend and altough is far from perfect it is somehow playable, some of the cutscenes runs at full speed (30 fps) and the battles are about 13 to 20 FPS depending of what´s going on the screen.

Maybe I have been lucky in my selection, but I have yet to encounter a GameCube game on my Shield TV that I found unbearable to play. Shield handles GCN games quite nicely.

Any smartphone should be able to get less than 30fps in any game on Dolphin...
Check my profile for up to date specs.

Do you include "doesn't boot at all" in "less than 30 fps" ? Just talking about the performance is too optimisic Wink
