Another thread about not recognized XBOX 360 Controllers

Hello there,


I'm trying to get my XBOX 360 Controller to work with Dolphin. I used the same controller some time ago (maybe a year or so?) to emulate games, but I don't remember the version I used back then and what I did, to make it work (if I did anything specific at all).
I tried installing new drivers (even tho there were some automatically installed, when I plugged the controller in), but I only found some for Windows 7 on Microsoft's support site.
My system seems to identify it, since I was able to calibrate it in Window's Control Panel.
Since that seems to help, here are some pictures of my settings in Dolphin:

XInput/0/Gamepad is a controller, Dolphin can see it. By the looks of things, it just needs mapping.

Click one of the boxes and press a button on the pad to assign it.

On another note, you may want to download the latest dev version of Dolphin. May work better.

Holy hell, I'm an idiot. It was just that. I kind of expected Dolphin to apply something like a standard-mapping, when I plug in a controller, so that I only need to change it to my needs.
