Another day, another problem

Excuse the noob ignorance here.
Had everything working last night and it was sweet.
But today I went to play some games, and the WII Remote won't recognize Dolphin.
Checked my devices and printers, and the Nintendo RVL-CNT-01 is there.
However every time I try to configure it Dolphin, it goes away.
Turn off Dolphin, wait a few minutes, and it comes back.
AS long as I don't try to have Dolphin recognize it, it is there. When Dolphin tries to find it, it goes away.
What stupid thing am I doing now that I can not realize?

Using your cursor as the wii pointer is an option, but you will need to go into fullscreen to make it fully work
