I'm trying to play animal crossing and it says The Memory Card in Slot A needs to be formatted. I tried hitting every button on my key board and nothing happens I'm just stuck here Huh

Do you have anything else saved to Dolphin's Memory Card? You can check by going to Tools -> Memcard Manager. If you have nothing, feel free to delete the file on your computer. I believe Dolphin should generate a new one and that should be good to go.

If you have other data on your virtual memory card, make a copy of that file (and rename it, preferably) and move it somewhere safe before deleting the original so Dolphin can make a new one.

I finally figured it out I had to set up my keyboard as a controller. And for some reason Z was my A button in the game so i'm finally able to get options and move past this
