I'm new to the Dolphin community so please bare with me.
I downloaded Dolphin 5.0 yesterday and I'm attempting to play Animal Crossing for Gamecube. My main issue is that when I start the game, it loads as normal. The Nintendo logo pops up and then I see the character getting off of the train. Then nothing. The whole thing just freezes. Even when I attempt to reset/close the game, the whole program stops responding and I have to close it with my task manager.
Background info that may be useful: I started by downloading the latest Beta of Dolphin because i didnt realize it was unstable. After I noticed, I went back and downloaded the stable copy of 5.0. Initially when I tried to load the game, the game didnt work at all. After some Youtube tutorials I fiddled with the game until Dolphin could read it (but only ever up until the main freeze).
Dolphin also doesn't recognize the game as an ISO automatically (im not sure if its supposed to). But i did manage to set it as the programs default ISO.
I'm terribly technologically challenged so I'm not even sure where to start. If anyone has any idea or suggestions to aide me, I'd be terribly grateful.
