Android (S21) not saving xbox wii emulator

im having problems getting dolphin-emu (5.0-16380)from playstore working with "classic" setting.
i have disable all input in gamecube controller settings
i goto settings > wii input > wii remote 1 > emulated > classic >
at this point i can see buttons (A, B,X and Y) in the menu and at top it now says " Wii Remote Extension 1".
when i make changes here and hit the back button one time it takes me to previous menu and it still says "classic" but you can tell this screen is blank and is the "none" menu and not really the "classic" menu.
now i will hit back menu again and it takes me to the wii remote select for remote 1 to 4.
i hit back again and am at "settings" menu
back one more time and im at the main menu and it said it saved settings to the .ini file.

start game and have zero controls.

the wii remote extension 1 area is not saving clearly.

Does tapping the save icon after setting the classic control help? You usually don't need to disable gamecube controls for wii games. Dolphin automatically displays wii controls for wii games.

The save icon doesn't exist anymore nowadays, since Dolphin automatically saves your settings anyway as soon as you go out of the settings
