However, even though I've also gotten the IR pointer to work, it goes all over the place on screen when I press the buttons I assigned them to that makes the IR pointer move. If possible, is there any way to fix the IR pointer so that it would behave similarly to the Wii so that it won't instantly go from one location on the screen to the other almost instantly?
What did you do to get IR to work? I've tried editing WiimoteNew.ini but my changes don't seem to be doing anything (trying to map my right stick to moving the Wii cursor). Also I noticed when I change the Wii controls within the Dolphin app it changes stuff in Dolphin.ini, but there aren't any IR settings in there as far as I can tell.
If it matters, I had also set SIDevice0, etc. at the bottom of Dolphin.ini to 6 to get multiplayer working on GameCube games; does that have to be different for Wii controllers?
For SIDevice, no, it doesn't have to be different for Wii Remote controllers.
For IR, however, I recommend you set IR/Up = `Button 26`, IR/Down = `Button 27`, IR/Left = `Button 24`, and IR/Right = `Button 25` in WiimoteNew.ini.
