Good day everyone. I received the  android oreo (8.0) update the other day. And I notice it having some good and bad efforts on the emulator.

(Feel free to post what you all notice below affected by the update.)

I noticed that sonic adventure and adventure 2 have overall decreased in performance.   The games never ran at full speed to begin with but they use to be playable.  The  Games were able to achieve the maximum speed of 60 fps in some parts

Super Mario Sunshine is near perfect, running at the maximum speed of 30 fps .  Although one thing I did  Notice was No entity Was affected by the Slime or "ick like gooie stuff"  in the a mortal words of the red toad.

I had to downgrade the app file from 7558 to 7391

Why did you have to downgrade dolphin?

And it's unlikely to be the OS upgrade itself that made any difference - as dolphin doesn't depend on much of the system frameworks and stuff associated with the core android OS itself for any performance critical tasks - but the GPU drivers may have been updated at the same time, which *can* affect performance of dolphin significantly.

7391 has always been my safe version. I personally find this version Gives the best results And also something with the new versions today has been causing dolphin to crash more times than Usual. , I don't know what would cause this , I would think its the OS update but you said that rarely would have effect on anything

If there's *actual* differences between versions, bisecting them to track down specific commits that make things better/worse would be extremely useful to help fix these issues.

Otherwise you're probably wasting your time, for the most part latest == best (unless you do hit one of those specific issues, of course)
