This is what I see - no tabs. When I get home I will try opening a game (never have but wanted to donate to the effort) and see if then I get the option. I've fooled around a little with adb commands and rooting so I know some basics if there's another way.
I now have an updated nexus 4 nexus 5 and nexus 7 and I'm curious to see if Google updates the drivers which I doubt. Seems to be mostly bug fixes.
try with one of the most recent versions https://dl.dolphin-emu.org/builds/dolphin-master-4.0-1776.apk which should have the new white interface you saw in my screenshot+muiti touch support(walk while pressing buttons
)+lots of fixes in dolphinanother way to check is if you have antutu benchmark app go to device info and scroll to gpu information which it will mention it there
even if you have basic adb knowledge I don't think there is a way to know driver version thorugh adb(unless you start an adb shell find the kernel dev block, extract stock kernel image, decompile and read through code to find any changes that have been made which requires lots of knowledge and time to read los of stuff)
