Hi,

I have been trying to get the Analog triggers to work, but I can't seem to figure it out.

I am using an original Gamecube controller connected through 8BitDo GBros Adapter USB.

All other buttons work fine and the triggers work, just not the analog aspects.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

So, I just searched about this on the internet.
  • Do you have the latest GBros Firmware v2.24?
  • By default, it is recognized as Switch Pro controller. Red LED means Switch Pro mapping, and Green LED means GameCube mapping. Make sure you have Green LED.
Just press and hold L+R+A+B+START to switch between GameCube and Switch Pro mapping.
If all this doesn't help then post a screenshot of your controller settings in Dolphin. (Maybe the analog triggers aren't mapped in Dolphin?)

Thanks for checking.

I worked with some folks on the Discord server and it seems to be an issue with the adapter itself.  It just isn't recognized as the right device ID in switch mode on the PC.  I did try switching it to Gamecube mode, but the controller isn't recognized.

I am going to try the Mayflash adapter and see if that works.

Thanks.
