this is typical use case for me,

when I try a new game on dolphin, most likely that there will be special settings for those games, and without doing them correctly then its not going to run as its best, or not even run at all.

how about attaching some data with each game for best configration, I do understand that sometimes there are trade offs between speed and other things.

however if we put most accurate emulation as a goal, and add the meta data to the games, then allowing the user to override them if needed.

yes, but at the moment it uses the general config even if its wrong

no, each game has it own ini file.
CPU: E8500 Not OC
Memory 8 Gigs DDR2-800Mhz
GPU: NVidia GeForce 8800GT 256
OS: Windows 7 64bit
Monitor: LCD TV 42' 720P

ok I see now, but are those updated as the emulator progress?

or do I need to check if there are changes on the emu settings on the forum

correct me if I am wrong, but I never trusted original data, I had to change them for each new game

You should do everything on your own, Dolphin team shouldn't set all settings for ya y'know

I dont want dolphin team to do that, maybe I will start a trend by uploading my ini files, then we can collect data base for most games this way

thanks for the info man

so thats what the cheat database is for,

I thought its cheat as in unlimited lives etc

I consider my self regular on the forums, and never knew about it. maybe we need to advertise it a bit more, (like in your face sticky)
