Look at those benchmarks!

Now it is possible to build a very hardcore productivity + emulation etc gaming machine on a budget!

I don't want to be mean but there are too many Ryzen Threads like the one below
https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-ryzen-will-run-modern-emulators-as-well-confirmed
...And none of them ever have a dolphin benchmark
Is there any reason to make a duplicate thread if it has nothing to do with Dolphin ?

So they finally improved the single thread performance, emulators will love this if it's true.

I will only believe it when I see people running it here on the forum, after all it has been 11 thousands years that Intel is winning the single core performance. lol

I will never understand those fans of monopoly called intel.

I really hope the Ryzen arrives with good performance per core, and compete adequately with intel - It will be good for everyone.

Everybody hyped the shit out of Bulldozer and Vishera. Leaked benchmarks said they were amazing. Marketing material said they were amazing.

They were trash.

AMD has been doing this with their CPUs for years. Pardon me if I laugh at people hyping up Ryzen before it's even released.

You're on the forum of an emulator which needs good single-core performance, something AMD doesn't have for years now, so, Intel is the only option currently.

I never said otherwise. I know that. use intel - anyway.

It's just that some people seem to cheer for the Ryzen be a failure, and that's not a very healthy attitude, IMO.

It's not so much that people are cheering fro Ryzen to fail, more like AMD has a bad track record in recent years so everyone is extremely skeptical.
