For all you AMD owners out there who are running stock drivers, they finally fixed the application profile bug.
Basically you could go into the Catalyst Control Center and toggle things like forced AA or AF and have it apply to all 3D applications. You have the option however to enable custom profiles for certain executables to override the default setting.
For me, this has personally resolved a very frustrating anisotropic filtering issue. I would set a custom profile for Dolphin to use application preference for AF setting, while my main default setting for all other programs was to use override-forced 16 x AF. This never worked and Dolphin would always use forced 16xAF.
Well AMD FINALLY fixed this bug and now your custom application settings really stick. This is very convenient and fixes all the bugs that come with using AF in Dolphin, like the water in Super Mario Sunshine or the sunshafts in Zelda Twilight Princess, etc.
Just thought I would post this so any AMD owners out there could take advantage of it. It saves a lot of time and frustration loading up a game only to remember you left 16xAF enabled in the drivers and need to quit and change it.
Too bad, or good depending how you look at it, I'll be switching to a GTX 780 in less than a month hopefully. Goodbye AMD, and your garbage drivers. I will miss you not.
