Hello!
I was very happy to know i could play some of my favorite wii games on my notebook using dolphin emulator. The thing is i think even though i set the emulator to have high performance from the graphic card, its not been used or recognized, so im not able to play games like mario kart with good FPS. I can play games as need for speed rivals and assassins creed 4 in a good definition and acceptable FPS, so im sorry if my doubt is kinda stupid bur i thought my notebook would be able to run dolphin without bigger problems. Does anyone know something i could do?

Dell Inspiron 15R, Windows 8 x64
CPU: Intel core i7-4500U @1.80 GHz 2.40GHz
memory (RAM): 8GB DDR3
Dedicated Graphics Card: AMD Radeon 8850M 2CG GDDR5 - 640 @ 575 - 725MHz 128 Bit @ 4500MHz
Integrated graphics card: intel HD graphics family

Dolphin 4.0

is it a bad hardware for dolphin? i think it isnt because as i said i can play some recent games with great performance!
thak you very much for all the help! Big Grin

i7 4500U's integrated GPU : Intel HD 4400 should be able to handle that game at lowest IR (Internal Resolution)
On the other hand , The CPU is weak . Ultra low voltage CPU performance is unstable . It's weaker than a normal dual core i3
Make sure your CPU turbo boost is working properly :

Do not compare emulation with PC gaming ! Those two are completely different . PC game does not need a very fast CPU , it just need a very fast GPU
Dolphin does require a powerful CPU to run game full speed . The more powerful the graphics card, the more pixels and enhancements you can throw at it before you’ll see slowdown.

thank you for your support!
anyway, i didnt know my CPU was that weak. Ill see if that turbo boost is ok! So there is no way to compensate my CPU with the integrated GPU?
thanks again!
