Hello everybody!
Do you think an AMD apu A10-6800K can run well on Dolphin? Specifically I would like to play Resident Evil 0 and Rebirth. This is the configuration that I would like to achieve:

CPU-AMD A10 6800K HD 8670D FM2 3.4GHz 4.0MB Cache 65W Retail

-Motherboard MSI A78M-E35 (A78, FM2 +, mATX, DDR3, VGA, AMD) [7721-002R]

Ram-DIMM DDR3 Crucial 4GB / 1866MHz Ballistix Tactical [2x4GB] CL9 rt

I wouldn´t recommend APUs for Dolphin, most games have problems with it. Don´t know about Residen Evil series but you shouldn´t have much slowdowns if running on minimal settings.

I don't feel like I have to explain it all over again . So
https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-am-i-doing-something-wrong-or-is-it-simply-my-computer?pid=327227#pid327227
Basically , AMD CPU is a no go for Dolphin
You may find some game are playable with it (if you overclock) but demanding games are out of the question

I use an A8-6600K and the only games I have problems with are Twilight Princess, and Super Mario Galaxy. And I can get SMG to run a 50-60 FPS most of the time. I also own RE4. I haven't played through it yet on dolphin, but I did do a test run through the beginning area and I didn't get any slow downs. If RE 0 and RE rebirth are similar to RE4 you shouldn't have a problem.

Thank you all for your kind answers!
I would not spend a lot, avoiding AMD, do you think this setup is better?

- Core i3-4150 (Haswell Refresh) 3:50 Ghz Dual-Core GPU HD 4400 Integrated Socket LGA 1150

- Motherboard ASRock B85M 1150 M-ATX D-Sub/HDMI/DVI

- Ram-DIMM DDR3 Corsair 4GB / 1600MHz Vengeance LP [2x4GB] CL9 1.5V rt

To use the dolphin need a dedicated GPU, or is it enough that integrated?

Intel HD 4600 can handle up to 3xIR (1920x1584) on light weight games , 2.5xIR (1600x1320) on most games , 1.5x IR on demanding games . I have no idea about HD 4400 but I'm sure Intel HD 4600 is a no go for PC gamer , it's not like it can't play PC game but you will be stuck at low-med settings on most games
You better wait for Unlocked Pentium Anniversary Edition G3258 which will be released soon (About 2 weeks)
Available for Pre-order atm :
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819117374&cm_re=G3258-_-19-117-374-_-Product
It's based on Haswell architecture . Basically a lower clock / weaker integrated GPU - i3 without Hyperthreading (i3 with HT : 2 cores 4 threads , Pentium no HT : 2 cores 2 threads) . Since Dolphin is a dual core app , HT is useless

You must pair Unlocked Penitum with Z97 mobo and an aftermarket cooler like Noctua NH-L9i (low profile , extremely quiet and cheap) in order to overclock
http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/noctua_nhl9i/4.htm
Unlocked Pentium can hit 4.6GHz which is extremely fast for most games , even demanding games are no problem
http://www.digitalstormonline.com/unlocked/intel-pentium-g3258-review-and-overclocking-benchmarks-idnum298/

As for the GPU , EVGA GTX 750 will do 4xIR (2560x2112) on most games , 3xIR on demanding games . GTX 750 power consumption is only 55W (full load) , it's very efficient

I also recommend this EVGA 500W 80 Plus PSU(39$) . It's the best bang for buck PSU atm (btw EVGA is a decent brand with excellent warranty service)

(Well-known brand) Fractal Mid Tower Case USB 3.0(35$)

And last but not least : memory
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231277&cm_re=gskill_ripjaw-_-20-231-277-_-Product

Edit : You can remove aftermarket cooler option , stock heatsink is fine for 4.6GHz OC though stock heatsink = noisy

Z87 is allowed as well. The whole limited to the newer chipset rumor is false.

It'll likely need a bios update if it's a Z87, and installing that's going to be tricky if the only compatible CPU you have available requires a bios update before you can use it. He should probably wait and see if motherboard manufacturers start shipping things with updated bios instead of buying something and hoping it'll work.

Just get a Z97 mobo and save your headache , it's not like Z97 mobos are more expensive anyway
For example , both MSI Z87 G45 and MSI Z97 G45 price are exactly the same (150$)

There are so many good choices for you to choose : 100$ (Asrock Z97 Pro3) 110$ (Asrock Z97 Pro4) 144$ (Asrock Z97 Extreme 4 )
I prefer Asrock Z97 Extreme 4 because of their gold-plated Japanese caps and a very good integrated audio chip
