Hello everybody!

do anybody know, if the AMD AM1-Kabini APUs , for example the Athlon 5350 , will be fast enough for Dolphin?

I want to buy a cheap and silent htpc and think the kabinis are great for it, so they are very energy-efficient also.
Bluray and small games shall work, but what about dolphin?

I use it mainly for one game: Mario Kart, because this is the only game, my girlfriend
plays together with me :/

thanks for help

It's weak for Dolphin . Even the AMD flagship High-end CPU : FX-8350 @ 5.0GHz (maximum overclock) can't beat low-mid range Intel i3 4130 @ 3.4GHz in Dolphin Benchmark
Mario Kart is a CPU/GPU demanding game
So low-mid range AMD CPUs are out of the question due to low single threaded performance
Just grab a Pentium G3220 + a low profile graphic card
Laptop:
Clevo W230SS : 3200x1800 IPS | i7 4700MQ @ 3.6GHz (Intel XTU + Triple fan mod) | GTX 860M GDDR5 | 128GB Toshiba CFD SSD | 16GB DDR3L 1600MHz
Aspire 715 43G : 1080p 144Hz |  R5 5625U @ 4.3GHz | Nvidia RTX 3050 4GB | 500GB WD SSD  | 16GB DDR4 3200MHz
Mini PC ::
G3258 @ 4.6GHz | ELSA GTX 750 | Asrock Z87E ITX | 600W SFX 80+ Gold Silverstone + SG06-LITE | Corsair Vengeance 8GB 2000MHz | Scythe Kozuti + Ao Kaze | 45TB 2.5" Ex HDD (in total) , Zelda Gold Wiimote , LE Wii Classic Controller , Gold LE PS3 DualShock , BlackWidow Chroma ,
