Hi, I have an intel i7 2600 operating on windows xp64. Im using dolphin 3.0 thanks to lamedudes build. Im trying to play mario superstars baseball for the gamecube but cant keep it at 60 fps, it drop to around 35 at certain points of the game. I am using lle compiler since hle is just buzzing. I have the dual cores checked and im using dx9. My processor isnt overclocked but thought it would have enough power since I ran playstation 2 games with no problem. Maybe this is just a tough game to run (hope not since its my sons favorite lol). Any suggestions would be greatfully appreciated.

Use LLE though as you already did.
Asus Laptop: K53TA
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-Bit - SP1
CPU: AMD Llano A6-3400M, Quad-Core, 1.4GHz-2.6GHz (Overclocked)
GPU: AMD Radeon HD6650M, 1GB GDDR3 (Catalyst 13.1)
RAM: Samsung 4GB DDR3-1333

Thanks for the reply. I copied that thread to a tee except have lle checked. That's why I'm wondering if I'm trying a tough game or if I'm suppose to over lock my CPU. I'll try another game. I just assumed with the i7 it would run any emulator and has except GameCube but I'm not giving up on it lol.

Most other games with HLE should be fine. LLE is demanding.

Ok I've tried two games with HLE and both had just a buzzing noise,so I
just assumed HLE didn't work. Is it based on what game you're running? If so does anyone know any games that will run using HLE so I can test it out.

Yes, HLE audio works for a number of games, but some have issues (big and small). Check for any specific games you have in mind at the Dolphin Wiki. Most problems with HLE audio are documented there, and if a game needs LLE (HLE audio is totally broken for a handful of games), it should tell you.

Note: The i7-2600 won't be able to handle Super Mario Galaxy 1+2 with LLE cause an overclockable ( "k") CPU is needed. SMG1+2 need e.g. an Core i5-2500k @ 4.4GHz or an Core i5-3570k (in most cases).

you can still overclock it using the BLCK, it's just that the k-Series have unlimited multipliers

But I doubt, that you can reach 4.2GHz when you overclock through the BCLK. Wink Besides, it depends on the quality of the MoBo. Only a few can achieve a BCLK of 107 or 108Mhz (more is not possible)

Well I do have the i7 2600k so I can over clock but didn't think I would need to. I'm also using asus Maximum iv extreme z motherboard. I'll try some other games I think Mario baseball might be one of those games that demand a lot (hopefully that's the problem lol)
