Wow! You guys really work hard to improve things. Great job!

Trying this new 4351 version (I'm using 32bit), I really noticed a good improvement in FPS (about an extra 5+ FPS) using Direct3D9 Plugin when playing Resident Evil Zero on my admittedly somewhat outdated rig. (The previous version I was trying was 4348).

I don't know all what you did with this version, but my RE0 game definitely now plays faster and smoother for me than any previous Dolphin versions I've tried, it's now more responsive and the sound even seems better too. It really makes a good difference.

I'll try this version with some other of my games later as well (But for now I'm sort of hooked on replaying RE0 again).

Thanks, and keep up the good work! Smile

For playing RE0 I'm using all the same settings as I was using in the previous versions I've tried, so I definitely see an improvement with the 4351 version. Some scenes are more noticeably improved than others, but on average I'm steadily seeing around an additional 3 to 5 additional FPS per scene. Perhaps it's not like a "huge" difference, but overall I notice the gameplay is now a bit faster and more responsive, and in Dolphin, every bit of extra speed you can squeeze out of it for playing some games the better Smile

RE0 stills runs a bit slow on my old machine, but it's still quite playable, and it still looks and sounds great. The little bit of slowness with this type of "Adventure Survival Horror" game I find in some ways add to the tension and atmosphere too. The graphics are usually crisper and sharper playing GC games on my PC as compared to playing on the console. It's a real bonus too having the Dolphin's save-states for some games (Resident Evil games often is a pain-in-the-butt for juggling around ink-ribbons and finding typewriters to save and often requires a lot of backtracking).

Anyways, looking forward to seeing Dolphin continuing to improve and evolve.
Cheers!

Why these Releases can't be fixed in the SVN section?

If you mean stickied, I would venture to guess that it would have something to do with the fact that I used to compile a long time ago and then I kinda stopped updating them, so they removed it. It doesn't really matter to me, I update them often enough for them to be close enough to the top.

4354. I found a bug in my fix for the full screen toggle... when you go out of full screen and then back in, it causes pixelation as if it wasn't in true X by Y resolution... I'm not sure why it does this as I'm doing a full reset. I made a small change to attempt to correct this, but I can't test until I get home from work Undecided

Feel free to test and post results.

Doh! I mistakenly messed up 4353 and 4354's updates to Render.cpp, which reverted the changes. So what that fixed was broken in my most recent update... if you downloaded 4354 before this post, re-download for the proper fix from those builds...

I re-saved my own changes while I was working on Render.cpp AFTER doing an SVN update and then just did a re-build, so it built without those changes Sad

It's fixed now and I re-uploaded, Sorry about that!
