Hi, so I'm completely new to using Dolphin Emulator so I'm hoping that it's something completely obvious that I'm missing. So far Windwaker and Twilight Princess are the only games I've tried and they both run at an abysmally low fps, before I try any more games I figured I'd make an account here and see if anyone could offer me any help. Thanks in advance!

Your computer is pretty weak for these games. They are fairly demanding. You can try using another graphics backend, like opengl & make sure your graphics card is set to high performance. You're already using basic default settings, so not much I can help you with there
Windows 11 Home x64
Intel Core i7-10700
Nvidia Rtx 2060 6GB
32.0 GB DDR4 RAM

Ah, I was worried that my computer was the problem. Thanks though! I'll try that out.

Wind Waker actually shouldn´t be THAT demanding... not that much.

Dolphin 4.0.2 is no longer supported, neither are the X86 builds.

What Windows version you´re using?
Rig 1: Windows 10 Home | AMD A6-1450 @ 600/1000/1400 MHz | AMD Radeon HD Graphics 8250 | 4GB RAM | HP Pavilion TouchSmart 11.

Rig 2: Windows 10 Pro | Intel Core i7-2640M @ 780/2800/3500 MHz | Intel HD 3000 Mobile | 8GB RAM | Dell Latitude 6320.

If possible, upgrade your OS to Windows X64.

Dolphin x64 is 50 ~ 80% faster than x86. In addition, you get the advantages of version 5.0.

Use a dev version instead of 5.0 stable.

So I downloaded Dolphin 5.0-2981 x64, and I have a 64 bit OS. I'm still having fps problems, it's definitely improved but it's still making playing the games difficult
