All games crash after initial play

I recently downloaded dolphin 5.0. (I had been using Dolphin 4.0 for forever, I just didn't like the music dropping off in Mario Galaxy so I thought I'd update to a newer version.). I opened Mario Galaxy. It ran great initially. There was obviously a little lag because my laptop is not optimally built for emulation. But regardless, the game ran pretty smoothly and looked great. i got to the first area, where you have to chase the bunnies. I used a savestate and logged off. I came back a little while later to boot it up again. But now, the game won't even load. As soon as i highlight Mario galaxy and hit the play button, I automatically get a 'Dolphin.exe has stopped working' error, and it forces me to close the program. This now happens every time i try to boot Mario Galaxy. I tried opening another game (metroid prime 2). That opened up fine initially as well. I closed Dolphin to see if I would get the same issue with that and I did. So now whenever I open Mario Galaxy or metroid prime 2, it crashes.

has this happened to anyone else? I've seen other people with similar problems, but it looks like whenever it crashed for them, they got a very specific error message. Mine just says 'Dolphin.exe has stopped working' and the only option i have is to close the program.

Can anybody help?

Thanks

Some troubleshooting steps:
In Documents > Dolphin Emulator try deleting the Cache folder.
Try the latest dev build of Dolphin.
Try doing a Windows restart (not Shut down, but the actual restart option).
Try updating your GPU drivers.
Check for any Windows updates.

It's an intel igpu issue that shouldn't remain in master or on the latest drivers.

Thanks for answering guys.

JMC47, would you be able to elaborate a little? I'm not overly tech savvy. What do you mean by master and latest drivers? Is there something I can do right now to them to fix it? Or are you saying that my current computer just isn't capable of handling 5.0?

He's saying you need to use the latest development build of dolphin and update your graphics drivers.

Wow. Simply updating my Intel video driver actually worked. I can't believe it was that easy. Thanks for the help everyone!
